Sophia is a Consultant at Synergia with over 8 years expertise in qualitative, community-based research across multiple sectors – including population health, education and public policy.

Sophia is a values-driven collaborator and approaches her work with a whole systems mindset. She is passionate about working with communities and organisations to understand the unique challenges they face, and to support the development of sustainable and equitable solutions. Sophia brings strong capability in qualitative research, including workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement, thematic analysis and reporting. She has experience coordinating large and complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. 

Although now settled in Tāmaki Makaurau, Sophia spent her childhood living in Fiji, West Auckland, Tairāwhiti Gisborne and Whanganui. She has a deep understanding of the diversity of views and experiences across New Zealand and brings this with her into the consultation process. ​
